OUR STORY . . .
-
Summer Foster, the owner of Roxie's Restaurant, has always had a passion for cooking wonderfully delicious comfort food. Summer grew up in her Grandmother Roxie's grocery store, where Roxie's Restaurant now sits. Summer learned firsthand from "Miss Roxie" how to prepare amazing meals. When Summer opened her restaurant in 2014, she of course named it in honor of her grandmother. Skillet cooking was always Miss Roxie's specialty and Summer still cooks in several of the same cast iron skillets passed down to her from her grandmother.

"Roxie's Restaurant is not like most typical restaurants. We are very family-based and eating here is like going to Ma's house for dinner. We are very thankful to the community, our family, friends and, most of all, thank You, Lord."
(quote: Summer Foster)
